From RFD linen to in-house spun wool, every fibre is engineered before it is shaped.
At 8•1, creation begins at the fibre. Our linen starts as RFD (Ready for Dyeing) fabric, allowing complete control over purity before colour is introduced. Pigment is bonded deep into the weave using high-precision digital processes, preserving breathability while achieving surgical clarity. For wool, we eliminate dependency. We spin our own yarn, calibrating thickness and tension in-house before dyeing in controlled vats. Each knit is hand-finished by skilled artisans, creating a living texture no machine can replicate.
